The same series of moves serves to open or close it. If you want, swap left for right in the following:
1. Hold it in your right hand, with the cover toward your left palm.
2. Left fingers go to the center of the cover, left thumb on the clasp, peel it open part way.
3. Reach your left thumb and fingers around the cover and grasp the Visor body by its sides, lift the body up off the lid which you are now holding in your right hand.
4. Hold the Visor securely in your left hand, don't rotate it or anything so you don't drop it.
5. Use your right hand to manipulate the lid to turn it around, and place it on the body. Snap it on and you're ready to work or put it away or whatever.
The reason for this procedure is to always have the body securely, well controlled. You can open or close it standing up, laying down, or riding an ostrich, it's the lid you flip around with one hand, you keep the body under tight control.
