1. Ordering Categories
In order to make my categories show up in the order I want instead of alphbetically, I start the name with a "priority" number (1 to 5). All the ones that I want at the top can are 1s, 5s at the bottom, etc. This way, I don't have to scroll down my categories list unless I need one of my seldom accessed categories.
2. Managing Imported Contacts
I regularly have to scrap company phone lists, and account listings when I change territories. I create seperate categories for these entries so they can be mass deleted later when it's time to import the new data. Just so I'm always clear, I start the names of these categories with "(i)" for import. I have (i) Accounts 99, (i) Sales Reps, etc.
