Unhappy

My new Flash module locks up in File Mover 1.1, both when scrolling quickly with the scroll buttons and when exiting the File Mover application.

The scroll problem seems to be something to die with screen updating... it redraws half the entries in the file list, then pauses for several seconds before (occasionally) displaying one more entry and then hanging for good.

The exit problem has the screen clearing for 10-15 seconds and then, sometimes, continuing with no problems. Sometimes.

Any ideas? I did verify that I'm using File Mover 1.1.

If you have any Hacks installed, try uninstalling them. I haven't been able to figure out which of my hacks (individually they all seem to be okay) causes the module to lock up, but it works fine with them all uninstalled. In particular, my module would lock up when moving back to main memory or when deleting from the module. Hope this helps.

I turned off EvPlugBase completely and the
problem persisted. The problem doesn't appear to be directly associated withthe module itself: file transfers work fine, and I don't even have to examine the module for the problem to manifest itself.

Exclamation

I went through my Visor with a fine toothed comb and discovered that I'd left TrapWeaver engaged after trying out backdrop.

Well, that seems to have been it.

No more lockups since removing that program.
