Do you win sweepstakes? Or any kind of giveaways?

I buy 20 oz. Cherry Coke or Mellow Yellow from the vending machine at work. On the label, it says 1 in 6 WINS! I've purchased 32 bottles in the past year ... and won ONCE.

The probability of winning only 1 or less out of 32 bottles is only 2.16%. I'm feeling really unlucky ...

Maybe I'm taking all of yours because I win those free sprite things all the time. I've also won a 30,000 dollar security system for our house. Oh and on www.treeloot.com I won two monkeys (stuffed animals, not real ones) I've never 'gotten lucky' (DUH, I'm 15) if thats what you mean, but assuming by your post, It's not

I've won plenty of awards for various things, but never a sweepstakes, bingo (or any games of "chance"), and rarely a free pop.

Poison Control stickers. I had one on our phone when I was in kindergarten and had forgotten all about them. Now it's my avatar so I can take a trip down memory lane when I'm here. There's no hidden commentary behind it, I just always thought he was .

I consider myself lucky, but I never win the sweepstakes and stuff.
But I am lucky in small things. My life allways seems to work out for the best and I am very gratefull for that so not winning the jackpot is no biggie for me...

Mmm I need some coffee, I'm starting to sound like a softy

I would consider myself lucky. Although I never really win any sweepstakes, I have never broken a bone. Which is surprising because I race freestyle motorcross and ride 4-wheelers, or snowmobiles whenever I get the chance.

An example of this is this winter my dad took me up to the mountains to ride snowmobiles. I had been out riding all day long and was coming back to the hotel. It was about 9:30 PM, and very foggy out. I was stupid and veered off the trail a bit cause I wanted to ride in some powder, well it turned out being a cliff. So when I fell off the cliff I nailed a tree head on at about 40 MPH, that sent me over the handlebars. I fell another 30 feet and then I hit the lower trail. I was however riding with a friend, so when he looked behind him and saw I wasnt there he turned around and found me by my yelling. Luckily about 5 minutes later two adults came down that trail (btw they were the first people we saw on that trail besides us all night) and they helped us out.

After that happening I dislocated my shoulder and couldn't use my right arm for a week, but nothing serious happened.

I won my very first PDA - a Palm Pilot Personal - in a sweepstakes on 3Com's Australian web site. Before I moved to the States, I used to win regularly on phone-in competitions on the local radio station - single-button redial is your friend

I'll have something really good happen about maybe once a year. The internet has been a real boon to winning stuff. Last year I won a Palm V (Which I sold to help pay for my Prism) and just today I got a check for $10 from some company for filling out a survey I did like 6 months ago. Couple weeks ago I got a free pen/stylus combo from AT&T...

Cool

I won a trip to Paris through Salon.com last year. That's about my one and only substantial win...
Material wins that is...... We have a six year old adopted daughter so I was a BIG winner there.

K.C.... you get my vote as the official VC music afficionado! That's the second oh-so-appropriate musical reference (I'll stop the world and melt with you was the first) I've seen you make here. Keep it up!

COOL! A title! In "real life" people get sick of my music references.

I taught the Mr. Yuck song to my 4 yr old niece, who sings it in her best Growly Voice.

Mr. Yuck for Time Man of the Year!!
