Perhaps it is a "chip"?

It is funny how one "typo" can start a life of its own. Maybe it's an East Coast thing.
As for a chip on your screen, call CS. Many people on this site have had replacement units sent out due to scratched screens. It's worth a try.

Hey Just called Handspring and they are sending me a new Visor. Got my RMA number, and everything.. COOOL. besides it was really annoying trying to write over the scratch...
They are stupid.. everything because of a 10 Cents Cheap Ass Stylus.. They could have spent 20 cents and get something better.

I just tried to call HS about the scratched screen on my Graphite Visor Deluxe.
Unfortunately, they were closed for the day. I'll try them again week after next (next
week I'm on vacation).
I wanted to ask, though, is there a particular way to present the problem to the CS folks that might better ensure that I get a replacement?

Thanks in advance.
Otherwise I just LOVE my Visor.
