Question

does the EB slipper have any kind of screen protection? there is no mention of it on their web page.

Oops, I should clarify that.... I meant any protection when the cover is closed? maybe I should look into getting a piece of stainless sewn into the cover to protect the screen from my clumsiness! all I would need is to bump something with my hip, then oops! there goes the screen!

Nope, no screen protection with the EB Slipper. The buttons are covered with clear plastic, but the screen is open.

Overall it's a very nice case, and I would recommend it.

The flip cover on the Slipper does offer a minimum of screen protection when it is closed. I think it's actually stiffened up with a piece of cardboard sewn in between the leather. I believe it to be adequate when the slipper is in a jacket pocket but I wouldn't trust it in tighter (i.e. pants) pockets.

If you go with the EB slipper, get the belt clip... put a few credit cards in the pocket on the flip cover and your protected. I have had no problems with mine as to date.
