Question

I have downloaded MultiMail Pro III and a Mac Conduit Demos. MultiMail seems to work great with the modem.

I do have problems though Hotsyncing with Outlook Express 5 (no I do not use OE5 to as a contact database).

My Visor took a long time trying to sync with the conduit. Eventually it returned the following message:

A Memory error has occurred
Try limiting syncing to a smaller number of days.
02/28/2000 22:11:30
MultiMail Demo synchronization failed
"MultiMail Demo" failed (error = #16387)

I have changed the setting in the conduit from:

"Transfer email from the last |20| days"

to

"Transfer email from the last |2| days".

Hot syncing took for ever again (about ten minutes). Eventually the following message was returned:

A Memory error has occurred
Try limiting syncing to a smaller number of days.
02/28/2000 22:49:05
OK MultiMail Demo

The messages created on my Visor - but not sent - appear to be sent during the sync. There is no record of them in OE5, but they were received elsewhere. However, Visor is not updated with messages from the desktop. The conduit was set to synchronize.

I am not sure what to make of all this. Either I am setting something incorrectly in the conduit or something else is wrong.

Has anyone else have this problem? (I have Power Computing's Power Center Pro 240 with Mac OS 8.6)
