Visor Prism Backlight

Hi, help me. The backlight on my Prism has stopped working. Otherwise everything is OK. Can I fix it???

Does Prism have a backlight? Mine only has a brightness control.

All Prisms have an automatic backlight - that's is how you see the color screen. It is a tiny florecent light which runs along the side of the LCD (runs at VERY high voltage!)

I'm curious to see what the prism looks like -the backlight - is it usable at all? does it need a lot of light to operate or is it all black? Can you take a picture of it (on of course) and post it here?
