I bought an IR module for my PC and it's running fine. Now what?
Thanks a lot!

I guess this should have been asked in the "How To" section, but ...

If you wnat to do an IR hotsync, you will have to get IrLink 1.5 from www.iscomplete.com. Make sure to follow carefully the directions about loading the Enhanced IR Update.

Question

Which IR module did you get, where did you get it, and how much did it cost?

I have an ASUS P-3BF motherboard, and I went down to my local store and asked them to order one. It's the one featured in the motherboard's manual. it was about #30

Can I ask why you bought the IR module? Unless you also have a laptop it would be just be easier to use a cradle.

And was that 30 bucks (not pounds?) Canadian or US?
