How-to question..re-installing Desktop

I know this is a lame question, but here goes.
My computer completely crashed last week, got a new one, now re-installing everything.
I have a Visor Platinum, I installed the original Desktop Software that came with the unit, set Custom setting to Handheld overwrites Desktop.
The software installed ok, but none of my addresses, dates, etc. were transferred.
Also, I don't use Outlook on my computer, yet the Custom box on my desktop shows Outlook conduits for Calendar, Contacts, Tasks, and Notes. Should I change the Action settings for these to Do Nothing, or perhaps Handheld Overwrites Desktop?
My main concern is getting all my data back over to my desktop.

Hey,

Change all conduits to palm overwrites desktop.
