Talking

I opened up my Vdx today and there was a blue blob in the middle of the screen. It looks like ink. I was a little worried because I didn't pay for Compuserve's warranty.

So I called HS CS, I was on hold for about 1 minute, and I got a really nice agent who quickly set me up a replacement unit and is sending it out tommorow! They are also paying for the return shipment of my visor.

I'm very happy.

Lightbulb Out of curiosity

Why did my pro-handspring thread get moved here when all the anti-handspring threads are allowed in general?

Just curious...

Lightbulb Wow...

I came home from lunch today, and there was a shiny new Green Vdx waiting for me.

I ran Backupall on my broken one, hotsynced, put the new on in, hotsynced and bam everything is back up and running.

Actually this new one doesnt seem to have the problem the old one did. The old one locked up if I hit the hotsync button on the cradle while it was off. Wierd.

Anyway, Cheers handspring!

It isn't a question of pro- or anti- anything. This was clearly a Handspring customer service issue and, as such, should be in Ordering/Shipping.
