Question

I'm a UK Visor user, and try as I might I can't send Yahoo emails using the Visor and my mobile phone.

I've tried all the free or trial email clients I can find (multimail, iambic mail, papi, thinair, eudora suite etc) but no success.

I can receive emails ok, so the pop3 part is working fine. Has anyone else got smtp to work with yahoo mail? Any hints? Something I've forgotten?

In return, I'd like to recommend Project Manager from http://progect.sourceforge.net as an excellent To Do style application.

Try receiving mail first (even if you don't have any) and then sending it. Yahoo's system makes you do one before the other to be successful. Works for me, using a springport modem module.

Check out this help topic from Yahoo.

For security reasons, we require that you log in to our POP servers before you may send mail from an email client. To do this, your email client will need to download new messages before attempting to send messages.
