Question

Is it just me, or has this site gotten VERY slow in the last few days?
It takes over a minute to navigate to a forum section. Is this just a function of the huge number of messages being stored?
I have been a member of this site virtually from the beginning, and I don't remember it being as slow as it is now.
Maybe it's a problem with my connection (T1 through local ISP). However, I haven't noticed any other significant slowdowns as I navigate in other sites.
I'm not trying to be critical--I wasn't sure if anyone else was experiencing the problem and had reported it.

The site seems way slower for me too. We will move the site to our new server very soon, hopefully that should speed things up.

Marcus,

I think (for the past day or so) it may be a combination of server and network problems. I've performed several traceroutes to 'trinitycentral' since yesterday, and from where I come in at it, I've seen a lot of hangs when going over the ATT route my traces take. Pings also tend to lose a lot of packets at times. However, when it all apears clear I still see some long delays in loading (forum) pages, hence my opnion noted above.

Hope the new machine helps ya out, though.
