Thumbs down lights off (broken led!)

The beautiful green led of my Prism has ceased to work. This happened long ago, but before I was so worried about stupid things that I hadn't time for the Important ones (as my fairy missing green led).

The Prism recharges nicely and properly, and everything else is working as fine. But I still miss my led.

Do you know if it is possible to replace it at home without too much problem?

I'm not completely idiotic about this (I know how much I could do, I had some very superficial electronic experiences, I'm not an electronic guru at all), and I would like to know if someone has some first hand data before start unscrewing the Visor needlessly.

Thanks in advance.

Bye.

I had the same problem and took the coward's way out - I called Handspring. Figured for $450, everything should work right. They sent me an overnight newbie.

I've had mine apart several times, but have never looked at what it
would take to remove the led. Just pop it open and see. Be careful
when opening the case that you try to get all sides to come off at
the same time so as not to break the screw posts.

I have the same problem, but I have just decided to live with it. I am afraid that swapping it out I may get more problems than it's worth. My Prism works just fine, but no green charging light.
