Question

I have a few question about the VDx. Firstly the VDxs they send out now, do they have good styli? Secondly does anyone reading this have the otter 2000 clear/black. If so do you find it small, strong, and give the ability to get the styli and use the IR. And how is the VDx held in? are there straps or is it just sitting in there? That is all for now.

The Visor I got had the same styli that they sell in the 5 pack. Plastic at the top and bottom, with metal inbetween. Also has a reset pin and a screwdriver when you unscrew the plastic parts.

No idea about the otterbox.

Peace

That stylus that Outlaw is talking about is the deluxe stylus which is the best stylus sold by Handspring. I've used it a few times and it is almost as good as the PDApanache stylus. But in defense for Handspring I think that the deluxee stylus is better than the one give with Palm PDA's.

Cool

Received my Blue VDX in November 1999, and back then it came with a cheap plastic (crap) stylus (all plastic, no metal). Although now they are shipping with a better one, which is basically plastic except for the metal grip,...

Perhaps I should buy the 5-pack,... ;-)

I just got my Blue Visor this week, my 1st PDA. I think the metal stylus with the screw driver in 1 end & reset pin in the other is great. Also unlike comments on this board about the Panache replacement stylus, this one *FITS*. The top end has a flange, making it easy to remove from the silo and it also keeps it from rolling when put on a table, etc. I just ordered the 5 pack from Amazon.com.

The Otter Box is not small. It is a BOX. The visor just sits in there. It is ideal for holding things in your backpack, trunk, or any other tough place. Don't even think about using the visor through it.
