Thumbs down

Have any of you fine folks had any success getting a response from Customer Support? I would think that if they have a email address on the web site, that they would at least make some pretence of answering support email, even if it is just an automated "we got your note" message. I've been asking the sorts of questions that should, by now, be in the meagre FAQ listing ("When will we have Win2K drivers?" "What's up with the fractures in the plastic case?" and so on) but to date have not received a single response.

Overall, I've very pleased with the product, but I'm rather disappointed with the public relations side of things. I'l still rather suprised that they don't have a representative fielding questions in this forum. It would seem like a logical place for them to do that, and a bit of free advertising to boot.

Hello? Anybody out there?

back on dec. 2nd i emailed tech support and thanks to the people on this site i solved my problem and never heard anything from handspring tech support. yesterday i get this email, with my email forwarded back to me and a message at the bottom...

"------ Please do not remove your unique tracking number! ------
<<#____-_____#>>"

there were numbers where the _ are.
the email was from some address called AbidAga with a tech support email address at handspring.

haven't heard anything back since. what am i supposed to do with this tracking number?
