Question

I ordered a standard version last night and now I am having second thoughts. I think I might want the deluxe version. I am a high school student and I plan on using the visor to keep track of my assignments and work schedule and also I plan to download several games and other apps. How quick does 8MB of memory get filled up? I want to keep the visor for awhile, and I don't really want to run out of space. Also, does anyone know where I can find a good picture of the blue color? Thanks a lot!

I think you'll find that it's not a matter of the 8MB filling up quickly, but rather a matter of the 2MB filling up quickly. I have a IIIx with 4MB, and only 792KB left. I'd have less, but I've deleted a bunch of documents recently.

For tracking assignments/work schedule, and a few games, 2MB should be just fine. But when you start downloading everything you can just to see what it's like, you might find 2MB to be quite limiting.

I run DateBk3 (enhanced datebook app), BrainForect (project manager), QuickSheet (spreadsheet), JFile Pro (database), Star-Pilot (astronomy/planetarium), iSilo (HTML viewer (via conversions)), TealDoc (doc viewer w/some graphics capability), Load Runner I & II, and a handful of utilities and other not-so-exciting games... If you think you may even think about wanting to go in that direction, then switch to a Deluxe.
