Visorphone earphone jack

Hi,

The earphone that came with my visorphone stopped working all of a sudden. I suspect it's the jack on the Visorphone that's causing the problem. When fully inserted, sound still comes out of the Visorphone speaker instead of the earphone. Twisting, and wiggling the wire/connector, and changing positions don't help.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any solutions? It's out of warranty by two weeks, by the way.

Thanks.

Thumbs down me too

I had the same problem. When you look into the jack, there should be a small piece of metal protruding into the hole. It basically makes the connection to the plug. My little metal tab was busted off, I'll bet yours is too. Fortunately my phone was still in warranty.

The lesson I learned was don't plug/unplug the headset a lot, the jack can't take it.

Sorry - let me know how you make out with it.
