Received my handspring slim value case today: SKU: 3010W

Personal opinion:
Don't bother. The case is a waste of $24.95.

They show it with a couple of credit cards and money in the pocket. What they don't tell you: you can barely close the case if you put a card in each slot and as little as three or four bills in the cash pocket.

I am returning mine to Handspring and dreaming it won't take forever for a credit.

Thank You Spice Em Up! I have been waiting to hear how the usability was, this helps. I think I may go buy the 3com slim case, when you use just the case without the snap-on cover, it gives enough room to make a nice wallet.

Just out of curiosity...when did you order. I ordered a black microfiber case and was trying to get a better arrival timeframe. Thanks!

Try the HandSpring Bi-fold case. Lots more room than the slim case, and you don't have to secure the Visor with Velcro.

I placed my order on December 15. Received my Visor and extra USB cradel on Jan 4 and my case on Jan 12 (I think).

I don't mind velcro on the back of my Visor, I have used my Win/Ce unit for the last two years with velcro holding it in the case and not found it to be a burden. I am ordering the Devian DV3 case for $27.95 from PalmGear.
I think it is the best case for my needs. It may be the worst case for others.

I ordered the Devian case today but not from Palm Gear. I ordered it directly from Devian.

It cost $2.00 more than from PalmGear but the shipping was $1.50 less. In addition it is on backorder at PalmGear and in stock at Devian. So for $0.50 less I will have it next week instead of the first week in February. Also I was able to order it with textured leather from the manufacturer. They also have it in Burgundy and forest green leather on Devians Website.

I did not order from the web site, I called their 800 number, much simpler than using the convoluted order form.

When I get it, I will post and let you know if it serves the purpose.
