Question

Anyone hear any rumors about the Crusoe chip. If you go to the Transmeta site, you'll see some curiousity piquing information about a new processor in the works. This company has been VERY secretive, has Linus Torvalds (creator of Linux) working for it, and is being funded by (among others) Paul Allen. If you look at the source on the Transmeta site, you'll see the phrase "Crusoe will be cool hardware and software for mobile apps" which seems to apply to PDA's. This could be very interesting. Anyone hear any rumors?

I've got my calendar set to remind me to check that site out on 1/19!

Moderators: This is sort of a double post - there's a topic just like this in the "Off Topic" section (which I also posted), but it just occurred to me that this may not be off topic. Could you please delete the entry in Off Topic? Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience.
