I've had this for a while now, and I thought I'd share a few thoughts:
It's a lot more cumbersome than one might believe. It looks just like its pictures, but protrudes from the back of my Visor Prism by a good half-inch, and sticks up an inch - more if you count the antenna. It also adds a good deal of weight to the Visor Prism, which is hefty enough on it's own; it seems to be the price one pays for color!
Unlike the Palm V/Minstrel V combo -which can be put on your pocket with little notice- one has to be very careful which pocket it goes into due to its heft, and believe me when I tell you that you WILL notice it in your pocket.
The toughest thing about this is that there are no cases for the Prism yet, let alone the Prism/Minstrel S combination, so carrying it around is like walking on eggshells: everything becomes a potential "Prism killer"
When I placed it into my Visor Deluxe for comparison, it wasn't as bulky, but bulky nonetheless. That information might come in handy for those of you who either have or are considering the Visor Platinum.
And by the way, it seems to support color. At least, I'M seeing color in the e-mail app.
It works as advertised, though, which (I guess) is the most important thing.
I'll be happy to answer any questions provided I'm not besieged. And if someone would tell me how to do it, I can even post a picture of it in my Prism.
Cheers!
