Back on January 1997, I read on Windows Magazine (winmag.com), There is Microsoft's WinCE Operating system for PDA and some PDA handhelds which runs WinCE for instance; NEC's Mobile Pro, Philips Velo I, Casio Casiopea and more. There is a non-WinCE too, like Sony Magic Link and Motorola Envoy which run the General Magic's Magic Cap operating system. Newton MessagePad from Apple Computer.
Psion Series 3c Palmtop. Sharp Zaurus ZR-5800FX which run Sharp's proprietary Synergy OS. Where they are now?

Today, Palm OS is popular for palmPC user, but Microsoft built PocketPC 2002 OS for PocketPC user, there's Symbian OS, LINUX OS and JAVA for mobile user. I don't know, what next?

Remember when first time computer were found with mamoth-size but lack of abbility but now It's almost no different between desktop PC and Notebook PC even with PocketPC. Technology always grow-up everyday, because the people always need more powerfull, more speed, more secure, more personal, more connectivity, more efficiency, mobility and accuracy.

The people need the one device for whole activity in their life. Time-critical and business data-critical can manage in one small gadget. Thats why Ericsson produce R380 Smartphone, Nokia produce N9xxx series Communicator, Jeff Hawkins with his Handspring product. IMHO: We are in the "wireless digitally transformation world". It can't be stop and there's will new inovation, because human is homoludens, Welcome to the Wireless Digitally Transformation World!!!
