Just wondering... is VC experiencing more problems? For the last 2 days, several attemps to connect to the site have failed with server timeouts. This has happened through my home 56k dial-up and my work 128k FRC.

Is it VC or me???

Mark -

Unfortunately, It's VisorCentral. There is an article posted on the home screen saying it should be fixed tomorrow.

I personally feel out-of-the-know when I can't get into the site.

I wonder if there is VCAA (VisorCentral Addicts Anonymous) in my area.

Sheesh!

Mark,

I've had similar problems. They were really bad yesterday from about 8:00-11:00 a.m. CST. I'm sure Marcus is on it.

I must apologize... I never checked the VC homepage... came straight to the BB as always.

Anyway, since I now know the story, I feel a little better. Of course, I'm lost without my daily dose of VC so I hope you all can understand my impatience...

And it looks like Marcus and Co won't be getting much shuteye this weekend... at least it's comforting to know they're on it so that VC remains the premier site that it is.

I have had problems accessing VC's homepage before. I had both AOL and Earthlink access; problems only when using Earthlink. I dumped AOL last month, so now when there are problems to be had, I have 'em...I could only get into this site today through the Anonymizer! Every time I tried using the straight Earthlink/MSIE 5.01, no go. Going through Anonymizer, it worked first try...
Weird.

Just wondering if the site problems are resolved yet. It's 6 pm and there doesn't seem to be any new posts or replys dated today, the 18th.

I had trouble posting today, I'd go through the normal process...hit sumbit...but it didn't get posted. One time all the light bulbs were white, and I knew there were new posts!

Is this due to you updating the board?

Yesterday we disabled the ability to post on the discussion board, because in case something went wrong with the upgrade we would have to revert to Friday night's backup (This way we wouldn't loss any posts).
