I went in to J&R Computer World in NYC and found out they had 24 Clie 710 in stock on friday June 1st. They sold them all in one day. Wow!!! a $499 product flying out that quick is amazing.
The pisser is I couldn't get one 
so iwent to the Staples across the street only to find out that they didn't get any yet.
I hope Sony didn't pull a PS2 mistake and not make enough of them.

That "mistake" jacked demand (and hence, sales) through the roof. Given that and the poor sales of the original Cli�, I think you can bet that they kept production down.
