cardaccess-inc.com now has a picture of the ThinModem on it, but like he said, you are unable to order it.

Is it just lighting or could it be blueish...perhaps cobalt blueish...? Just wishful thinking probably

Talking Not long now

The product is in their website ($149.95). It just does not have an active link to it. I think I will wait until they announce availability before I order, but if you want to drool a little, go here:

Smile

I was just at Card access web site, and I placed an order for the Thinmodem plus for $149.95 and it said it would ship on February 19.

Their little shipping date thing is automated to tell the next business day as the day they'll ship.

I'm gonna play it safe like Jim and wait until they officially announce it and add a link to it.

I'm betting we will hear an anouncement either Monday or Tuesday (A lot of announcements/products are pushed back for Pres day)

I just received the Thinmodem I had ordered a week ago on Thursday and have been playing with it all weekend (no crashes or problems what-so-ever). After hearing all of this, I am sending it back. I think I'll wait for the Thinmodem Plus, I could use the extra memory.

BTW, I noticed that CardAccess's site changed again and they are not showing the Thinmodem Plus. Also the non-active link posted earlier doesn't show a picture of the Thinmodem Plus anymore either. Hope it doesn't mean anything. Maybe I am a little paranoid because I was looking forward to the 6-pack.

The picture was there the other day, but I noticed it is gone. Maybe someone got a little too ambitious at CardAccess (we'll see).

I just received an email from CardAccess-inc, regarding the thinmodem plus.

The response back was the product is ready for shipment, but will not be available until March 1st.

Thumbs down bah humbug

yeah and they just emailed me to say they have no intention of getting European Certification for the original or the plus.

How can I convince them there is a market over here. I'd love to know the stats but I see more Visors over here than palms or pocket pcs.

Well, I got two identical notifications, so we cancel each other out.

Talking

Well, I got *My* email notification from... John! (thanks...)

Can you believe that there's only $40 between the thinmodem and the + ?

The price on the regular one is going to have to come down...

Any word on if CardAccess plans on selling the + at retail outlets? Possible discounts?
