Cool Office Suite

I'm looking at buying an office suite for my Prism. I probably don't need a database (MS Access wanna-be). Wordprocessor, Spreadsheet & Chart will probably be enough - something that integrates with MS Office will work.

The leading candidiates seem to be QuikOffice, MiniOffice, and Handago Office (the high-priced spread).

Any reccomendations on any of these?

Thanks!

- Brian

Cool

Thanks!

Delerium - You can download a demo of QuickOffice, and Minicalc at:

http://www.pdastreet.com/

I did so last night. Maybe its me, but Minicalc just seemed goofy - I couldn't figure it out. QuickOffice is intuitive, and quite usable. By chance I hit someone selling a new copy of QuickOffice v 6 on ebay last night, and bought it for $17 - just lucky I got it so cheap.

Documents To Go 4

I have been using Documents To Go 4 for quite a while and love it. Seamless integration with Word and Works Spreadsheet and your docs are fully editable on the Visor.

Yes, I know most people will moan about the $40 price tag but it's well worth it.

I have been using DTG 5 and feel it is a substantial improvement over 4. The ability to create and edit PowerPoint presentations is what I had really been waiting for. In addition, Word to Go in version 5 has a lot more formatting features than version 4. A demo is available here.

Unfortunately it does not. You have to rely on Word to do that for you after you hotsync the document.

I recommend to try them out and see what you like and what doesn't crash. I tried several and i wound up buying docs to go4. Quicksheet seemed to crash on me for some reason. I was going to buy quicksheet and quickword but after a week it started to crash so I tried docs to go and it worked better for me.

So I recommend try before buy.
