Security inconsistency

Has anyone else seen this? I have my Prism set to Mask records with a password assigned. I have a few memos set to be protected. When I access memos by choosing the Memo icon on the screen, it works as it should. If I access memos by clicking on the memo button, the protected memos are completely hidden rather than masked.

The only thing I can think of is that I have Wordsmith installed and it reprograms the button so that you also see a Docs tab.

What version of WordSmith are you using? While in WordSmith if you do a Menu/Options/Security, what does it say your security is set to?

I'm running 2.01a.

I don't have an Options > Security choice. Should I??

Okay, I'm running 2.01. I will look into that 'a' version later. I would assume that does not matter.

Oh, I see, there are different sets of menus depending if you are in a document or memo, or at the document/menu listing. Exit out of the currently open document or memo and try the menu/options/security again.

You got it

That solves it. Once I exited to the main wordsmith screen and chose options, I got the security choice, which included masking or hiding private records.
