Question

Quick question...My Visor came loaded with both Date Book and Date Book +. I would like to use Date Book + and delete Date Book, but the Visor will not let me delete it. Anybody else have this problem?

Thanks for any suggestions!!!!

Hi RobinTX:

Well, you can't actually delete the original Date book (I think it's part of the Palm OS) but you CAN make DateBk+ your default. Go to the "Prefs" app and select "Buttons" from the drop down list in the upper right corner. You'll see 5 icons. The upper left Icon matches the one on the Address Book hard button.

There's a drop down list right nest to that button. Tap it and select "DateBook+" and your all set.

I haven't installed it yet, but there's a hack that lets you select icons you don't want displayed on the applications menu. That might be a place to start. While you may not be able to delete the app itself, you may be able to get rid of the icon.
