(To any BB King tune) I turned on my Visor (DL) and the screen didn't respond.... I soft reset the blighter and it still didn't respond.

COuldn't choose a programme by tapping on the icon, couldn't scroll with the scroll bar, couldn't enter text. I could only get to 4 programmes using the buttons.

I hard reset (per the Handspring helpline) and when I was asked to "tap here" I did once on the bottom right hand corner once in the top left hand corner and in the bottom right hand corner and in the top left hand corner and in the bottom right hand corner and in the top left hand corner and in the bottom right hand corner and in the top left hand corner and in the bottom right hand corner and in the top left hand corner (wailing guitar solo rises to an ear throbbing crescendo) STOP! I cried (you did too).

So now I with my batteries out hoping a long cold reboot will help.

Anyone had this happen to them?

Help

Heard this tune before.
Try searching VisorCentral for DDS (Dead Digitzer Syndrome). Some have resusitated it by leaving the batteries out for awhile. 10 months ago, I had to send mine back for replacement because that wouldn't work. My take is that if it could happen once, it could happen again - better get a replacement. Mine's been fault free since.
