I was trying to upgrade my omnisky minstrel s modem to rev. c but accidental tap the upgrade button for memplug ver 1.3 with the modem in springboard slot. result is disastrous, now everytime I place the modem, I get fatal error message, didnot correct every if I hard reset the prism. What will I do now? Can someone please help? I'd really appreciate it.

You can try to download eraser program from memplug website and it will erase the flash in your modem. It'll work!

Thanks for your reply, but I can't get into my palm to access the eraser program when my modem is attached because the Fatal Alert message keeps popping up even if I soft reset the prism. Any suggestion to bypass the Fatal alert message?

Don't put the modem first. Run the eraser program and press wait for smart media card button and insert your modem. and after you insert it, press the start erase button!

Thanks, it works. I also notice a conflict between Omnisky and Launch III ver 2.2, Fatal error message disappears after Launch III program was removed.
