Lightbulb

I followed SG suggestion and ajusted my contrast. I then changed the date to Jan. 1, 1905 and was able to adjusted my brightness to a higher level.

Lightbulb

Maybe there are 96 total adjustments that can be made...maybe all the hacks people have downloaded are already there.

Popup menu of favorites??? Maybe 1/1/1925
Switch back to previous app? Check out 1/1/59

Anyone willing to check the first of every year?

Question extra bright?

I was able to do the "SG Maneuver" and adjust the contrast -- what a fix! it looks like (whether or not it's true) the screen scans better, for less flicker! -- but this one didn't work for me.

After setting the date to 1/1/05, how did you get the "extra bright" setting? Calling up the brightness on my Prism (holding down the power button) gave me the "normal" slider, with the bar all the way to the right already.

contrast effects maximum brightness

I noticed my screen seemed brighter overall after a contrast adjustment, but there's no special brightness hack that I'm aware of.
