Question

I'm on my second Platinum Visor. It seems that extended use of the backlighting wrecks the button controller.

The Power, Date Book, Address, To Do List, and Memo Pad buttons stopped working on my first Visor after using it in the dark with the light on for 20-30 minutes. Handspring gladly replaced it, but It just happened again after using it at night for 45 min or so. Initially I thought it was just a bad Visor until It happened again.

The up/down cursors seem to work fine which is strange since they are on the same board. The only way to get it on is to use the reset button or wait until the alarm goes off.
No amount of hard/soft re-sync seems to do anything.

Has anyone else ever seen anything like this?
Or is it just coincidence I used it at night?
