Question

OK EVERYONE, I HAVE FINALLY DECIDED ON THE VISOR PLATINUM. I WAS HEAVILY CONSIDERING THE PALM Vx, BUT I MADE MY CHOICE.
I HAVE LEARNED ALOT FROM THE MESSAGE BOARDS, BUT I STILL NEED SOME WARNING AND SUPPORT. PLEASE GIVE ME ANY HEADS UP ON MY UPCOMING PURCHASE... I WILL BE USING THE VPL FOR AN ORGANIZER, EMAIL, EXPENSE AND CONTACTS. I AM IN PHARMA SALES SO WILL NEED IT TO STORE MEDICAL INFO. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY COMMENTS YOU MAY HAVE.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR THE HELP

You are making a good choice. There are lots of pharmaceutical software programs to download from sites as Palmgear HQ or Handango. There may even be a Springboard available. As far as the Platinum goes, the more you use it the more you learn. You can also visit fine sites like this one and learn from the discussions. Good luck.

Thumbs up

I upgraded from a VDx to a platinum last week & am happy with the purchase. There is not really a whole lot of noticable difference from the Vdx. I like the fact that when I do eventually move to wireless modules, I won't have to deal with any RF shielding issues. With os 3.5 I will be able to view PQA's. On a few applications like Vindigo & Tealphone, my information comes up faster. The alarm is loud enough to hear unlike the alarms on the VDx. Overall, the Plat is more evolutionary than revolutionary, but I am very happy with it. I'm sure you will enjoy it!
