I'm considering upgrading from a VDX to the Platinum, but the latter only comes in ugly silver and boring black. What I'd like to do is move the Platinum into my nice VDX case, but that technically voids the warranty on the Platinum. The question is how would anyone know it had been opened? There are no seals on the case.

Now if only Handspring would use the same cool colours for the Platinum I wouldn't have this problem.

Hmm

As far as I can tell, there is no way for them to know that the unit has been opened..off the bat. They may be able to tell when it reaches the repair center though.
