Ok Im ready to make the plunge on the Prism. I have one question left....
I don't understand the issue about upgrading the OS in the future. What is the net effect of not having flash ram? When they say the OS is upgradeable through the expansion slot, do they mean a card would have to permanently occupy this spot? Or would it just be the port of entry for the upgrade? If it is upgraded by briefly inserting a card, it seems like a non-issue.
If you lose the expansion slot on the other hand, this is a serious loss. Anybody shed some light on this?

no upgrade

it means yo ucant upgrade to palm OS 4, although most of us wont b able to anyways because im betting it will take more space than 2 mb
