Question

I currently use the Slipper case and really don't have many complaints.. other than the cheezy velcro.. it's a nice case and seems to be getting easier to hot sync. I've been thinking of getting the Rhodiana case.. what the hell, might has well have both.

Anyone have both and can compare? Does the Rhodiana allow room for SB access and spare room for the slightly oversized modules?

How does general protection compare between the cases?

I appreciate your input.

Good question -- I want to know the answer, too! I have ordered an E&B slipper case, but am second-guessing my decision. Maybe I should have gotten the Rhodiana -- those elastic straps on the back sound very useful. Maybe I could sew some onto the slipper? Does either one have room for a pen-type stylus? I use a 4-in-1 stylus and love it, but it is big and does take up extra space.

BTW, every question or problem I have had has been solved by someone on VisorCentral. Way to go!

I don't have both, but on the Rhodiana you can access the SB by snapping open the "hatch" by which you insert the Visor. As for an "oversized" module, I guess it would depend on the size! For the most part, the Rhodiana is designed to hold the Visor pretty securely. Leaving "spare room" would almost defeat the purpose.

BTW - I LOVE the Rhodiana and think it's a great buy. The belt clip works beautifully and though it is a little clunky to have it on when you don't need it, it makes the Visor very secure and portable. -- I highly recommend it!

I have both and I like the EB for a slimer case. The Rhodiana case offers more protection and is slightly thicker. I am selling my Rhodiana($25) if anyone is interested since I have had both for one month and decided that the EB is for me. I also poked a little hole in the back of my EB case for reset. I plan to cut a little square out for the phone jack when the 6 pack from Innogear is out. Then, the only time I will to take the visor out of the case is to change the batteries!

I'm curious about the Rhodiana, does it still fit in a pocket easily? I'm not sure if I want to carry my Visor on my belt, I don't want to "advertise" that I'm carrying a loaded PDA So I'm kinda torn between the Slipper's smaller size and HotSync ability, or the Rhodiana's protection.

Question

Just bumping this up, I haven't even bought my visor yet, but I will, and I am trying to decide between these 2 cases. My friend has the Rodiana, and quite likes it, but I want to hear more about either.

I too couldn't decide, so I got both cases. I had every intention of sending whichever I liked least back, but I found that both have specific uses for me. I like the slipper when I'm around home or in the office...It's sleek and kinda classy, and I can hot sync at will (no problem in this area BTW). I use the Rhodiana when I go into the more industrialized areas of my workplace, mostly because of the case material, the positive closure of the front, and the hand straps on the back. I know it's a bit pricey for both, but I recommend getting both and trying them out for your specific application. You may like one or the other, or like me, wind up keeping both.
