Problems with Edge

My screen on my Edge just froze and I did my a hard reset. It goes to the digitizer screen and then just bounces back and forth between the upper and lower corners of the digitizer screen. I called Handspring and they gave me a case #. My question is can I have them send me a Prism or Pro instead of an Edge?

The reason I am thinking of switching is because of all the problems people of had with getting refurbished Edges or Edges that don't work. I thought I got lucky with mine, but I guess I am in the same boat as everyone else.

If you're within 30 days, just out and out ask to return it. You'll get your money back, and you can use it to buy a new Pro. the downside is you're out of a PDA for a couple of weeks (unless you've the scratch to be out the 300 for that period).

If you're over 30 days, well, get a replacement and ebay it at a loss, I guess.

Thanks for the reply's. One of the reasons I was thinking of switching was because I feel us Edge users are on the outside looking in on accessories. I would love to have a snapntype keypad, but they are not even considering making one for the Edge. Other than that I love(d) my Edge.
