Angry Graffiti won't work

When I try to write an "A" (in graffiti) it comes out as a "M." I've tried using the digitizer, but that didn't help. Does anyone have a suggestion (other than throwing it on the floor and screaming)?

Is that the only character you're having trouble with? Are you sure you're doing it right? The "A" starts at the lower left, up to the top center, then down to the lower right (like an upside-down "V"). If you tend to write... er... Grafitti... small, try making it larger and more pronounced.

Yeah, you can try installing the patch, though I believe throwing it on the floor and screaming will be much more viscerally satisfying.

Question

It's not just "A" it's pretty much every character.
I also heard that the patch doesn't work well. Have you (dick-richardson) installed it on your handheld?

I did when I owned a prism. I hadn't heard anything negative about it, but there was no way I could use graffiti w/o it, regardless. Sounds like you're in the same boat.

erm I could use my prism's graffitti straight outta the box, but I've patched it anyway with no adverse effects but I think I did see somebody posting some probs concerned with da patch on one of the bulletin boards.

My Prism seems to go through this phase every couple of days. It seems like the digitizer is off, but going back to Preferences and going through the digitizer exercise doesn't seem to help. The only thing that seems to help is to turn it off for a while and then try again. I'm not saying this makes sense, only that it seems to work.
