I'm holding out for the GoType! too, Jeremy. First, I like the way it looks. This is maybe a silly point, but it's one of the reasons. The GoType! is just cooler-looking than the almost "half-finished" look of the Stowaway. (No flames, please. When the Stowaway is folded up it looks neato, but fully open, you'd have to admit, it looks like the terminator with its skin flayed off.)
Second, I not as concerned as others are about the smaller key sizes on the GoType!. My hands are not to large, and I'm willing to put up with the keys.
Third, I like the GoType!'s form factor and size. Have you actually seen one? They're really not so large. It would fit very easily into a backpack without adding noticable bulk.
Fourth, I don't care for the fact that the Stowaway doesn't stay open on anything but a sufficiently large, flat surface. It's neato that it folds nearly to the size of my Visor, but I know I'm going to need more stability than compactness. If you're a student, you'd need a keyboard in places (like library aisles, cafeterias, classroom seats, driver's seats, bus seats, etc.) for which the Stowaway is probably not well suited, IMO. I anticipate a lot of laptop-time.
