Question

I am *definately* purchasing a Visor as soon as I can scrounge enough pennies.

I've been a Wizard user for years, and have accumulated quite a bit of information. Unfortunately, I never had a need to sync that information with a computer, so now I'm faced with a quandry: I have to transfer information directly from the Wizard ( OZ-5500 ) to my visor when it arrives.

Does anyone know of a program for the Visor/Palm platform which will understand the IR output from my wizard? What about just getting the Wizard's IR comm spec & writing my own data x-later? I have access to development tools & enough experience I could probably hack something together, but I'd sure perfer to buy something as opposed to writing something. Of course, if I had to choose between that and manually re-entering everything...

Who knows.. maybe just what I need to real good at graffitti! <belly-laugh>

I have a Wizard 640, and I have a cradle to go with it. I sync'ed it with the included Day-Timer app, then I exported my data and imported it into Outlook. I don't know anything about the 5500, though. Can you get a PC cradle somewhere?

Unhappy

My older Wizard does not have a PC Cradle option for it. There is an older 'PC-LINK' package - serial on one end, Wizard custom on the other, but it's going to run me around $175 if I can still find it anywhere.... The package hasn't been available on the market for a year now...

How long's the penny scrounging going to take? My dad has a Wizard with the PC link that I might replace with a Palm at Christmas... E-mail me if you're going to wind up waiting that long.

Slowdown, have you looked at Rupplynx? I run it for my Zaurus and it wasn't that bad in price.
