Did you check online? You can usually find generic models of your ink cartridges.

A general rule of thumb: The cheaper the ink-jet printer, the more expensive the refills.

At one point this year, Lexmark printers were actually cheaper than the refills (we have three sitting in our basement after we decided to buy them instead of the refills...what a waste!).

That is funny...Lexmark hahahahha
I know I am still kicking my self cause when I bought my HP, The bundle idea sounded good. Well it sounded good.

Another thing I need to stop kicking myself for is the fact when it comes to small things (like printer ink), I procrastinate.

Now I need to obtain the ink by the end of the day.
So that means finding a good deal on the internet wont happen.

I thought my PDA was supposed to keep me organized. I blame my laziness on Handspring.

Butt thanks again Homer. (maybe I cant take all the pens I have and drain them into my printer???? )

I'll be needing ink soon myself; I've been balking at $28 for black (I have a color cart already, as I don't use that as much. 'course the color's been "out" for months but my Epson printer won't let me eject it as it still believes there is ink in it ... stupid Epson ...).
I stumbled onto www.myinks.com yesterday. it was under $23 including shipping for two generic black carts. That's also the best online price I've been able to find (even the "pricer" sites tell me the best I can do it $12 per plus shipping).

They're sending by mail (assumably priority, meaning I have ink by Saturday).
I know you said you can't wait, but if you could, there's an idea.

The best prices on ink I've been able to find are at Target and Wal-Mart. However they don't carry every kind you might need (my type only started showing up this fall).

What's wrong with HP? I thought HP was a quility company! I just got a 960c, and also a lexmark printer came free with a new computer. It is halarious. As it prints, it seems to sing the Jeopardy song .

I buy "generic" replacements made by Micro Solutions Enterprises for my Epson Stylus 740 at BJ's Wholesale Club. $20 gets you three B&W or 2 Color cartridges!
