Hello,

I'm a new Visor'ist and I have a (maybe simple) question:

1. How could I identify which OS Version is working on my Visor Deluxe?

2. How could I identify the DRAM Problem WITHOUT installing a patch (which drains my batterie like ice in the summer)?

1) Tap the Menu icon, select Info... On the Info screen, tap Version and the OS version will be displayed at the top (mine reads 3.1H3 - no DRAM patch; 3.1M3 is the patched version)

2) Run the Handspring Updater. It will test for the DRAM problem. If it confirms you are affected, I would go ahead and install the patch... it's the only known cure besides getting a replacement.
