Hi there,

one of my friends bought a Nokia 7110 a few days ago. The service guy was kinda stupid, the WAP wasn�t configured. So I did it for him. But one thing I couldn�t figure out was how to dial up a provider and surf the web on my Visor. The infrared link works, I could send him my business card. But what software do I need on my Visor and will I also be able to surf html sites?

It's pretty simple,
Grab a copy of IRLink 1.5 from http://www.iscomplete.com/

Configure your dial up settings and modem in the prefs app on the visor.

You'll also need a web browser like proxiweb http://www.proxinet.com/ or AvantGo http://www.avantgo.com/ they have different strengths, try both and see which one fits your browsing style.

If you need an email client I can highly recommend multimail http://www.actualsoft.com/
