Question

I've been suffering through an absolutely horrid experience trying to sync with Lotus Notes (see http://discussion.visorcentral.com/...TML/000303.html and http://www.pdabuzz.com/Discussion/F...ML/000107.html)

Well, I've been able to sync with Intellisync but I wound up downloading 2551 messages from my Notes account!!

I there an easy way to mass "select&delete" messages or even the entire database in one step and start again with a one-way sync? (with different conduit settings, obviously!)

Thanks!

Gee...now I guess you know why Lotus gives you the ability to create folders in Notes mail. Of course, Intellisync does give you the option of synchronizing sub-folders as well.

What I suggest is:

1. Create a new folder in Notes mail
2. Move (ie. cut and then paste) the entire contents of Inbox to this new folder
3. HotSync (this should wipe out the contents of PalmMail)
4. Be a little more selective in what goes in Inbox

At this point you can either set up subfolders for sync and can use Intellisync's advanced filtering abilities to place just what you want on the Visor.

It's all in the manual. And be glad you don't use EasySync, you have no such options.

Good luck....
