desktop won't recognize Visor user name

I have been having hotsync problems with my Visor Deluxe, and I have almost beaten them. I moved my computer from one desk to another, disconnecting the USB docking station, and...no more hotsync. I did all the usual stuff, including an uninstall/reinstall and a registry clean, and finally some combination of actions got the Visor to connect to the desktop.

BUT.....

Now the Outlook 2000 on my desktop thinks that my Visor has never connected before and refers me to a nonexistent help file (thank you Windows 98) on syncing multiple handhelds to one computer. The user name of my handheld isn't recognized.

How do I get my MS Outlook 2000 to recognize my Visor?

User name in Visor?

Thanks, Mark,

I am using Outlook for email, calendar, and the whole works. I have two names in my PocketMirror, one that was already there, and one that I put in recently in an attempt to get it to recognize my Visor.

The problem is, I don't know what name is assigned to my Visor. Obviously it doesn't match either one in my desktop. Does it have to do with my "Primary PC" setup in my Visor under the Hotsunc menu? Do I need a primary PC address in there, or a subnet mask?

But mostly, I need to know my user name, I think.
