Hi, my name is Dave, and I'm a Visor case junky. [Voices come from around the room] "Hi Dave!". Every since my first PalmPilot, I've been searching for the "perfect" way to carry it around. I've been through the whole gambit of cases from leather, to neoprene, to ballistic nylon. I've had belt clip cases, regular non-clip cases, and a Rhinopack 3000 over the shoulder case (so my stowaway could come along).

Finally I decided that I'd go for more of a wallet case so I could only carry 1 "thing" around. I got the Rhinoskin 1100 case. I liked how flat it was (so it fits my back pocket well), but it's a little wide and tall. Then I got a Vaja case. Opposite problem... it's more narrow, but it's really thick. Also, it's money pocket is too small to be conveniant for bills (unless you fold them up twice, making it even more thick!). Also tried the Handspring custom case. I liked everything but the size, too tall, too wide, too thick. The belt cases were too big on my belt for my taste, but when I sat down I would always have to remember to pull it out of my back pocket first... bummer.

Guess what? I think I finally found the PERFECT solution. I bought a really thin wallet (just big enough for like 4 cards and bills), barely noticable, and I'm using the Handspring plastic belt clip case. Talk about slimming down! I love the simplicity of this case! That belt case is the thinnest, lightest case you can get, and adds basically NO size to the Visor. I never liked other belt cases because they stuck out about 5 inches from my side (giving me that "basement of the science building" look). This one is hardly noticeable, and the Visor is cake to pop out and turn on with one hand. The clip isn't the best quality, but the pros of such a low-profile case far outweigh that IMHO.

All those "wallet cases" like the Vaja only give you 3 card slots and barely a money pocket. I figure if you're ok with only a few cards, get a timy wallet that's hardly noticeable and then a tiny belt clip case. Devide and conquer!!!

Anyway, I thought I'd share my opinions after buying almost every case out there (or so it seems).

Well I have a recommendation for you. Have you tried the EB Slipper case?
I think this offers the best solution. The slipper does not add 5�. It is not as slim as the other but I really like this case a lot and it only seems to stick out a little over an inch with all my stuff in it.

Here is how I do it.

I carry my driver�s license and some odds and ends like a spare car key in my back pocket in the small part of my wallet. What I mean is my main wallet came with an �insert� that is sort of a mini wallet that usually slips in the main wallet. This is great for a license and little things. You hardly even know it is in your back pocket at all. I usually just keep my money bills in there as well. Just slipped in between. Sometimes I will keep them in my front pocket with a money clip.

Then I keep the Visor on my belt with the EB Slipper. The Slipper case has a slot for my credit cards and all the other weird cards like SAMS Club, work ID, video rental etc� So they are nice and out of they way. I was worried at first if they would slip out but so far no problems.

This combo seems to work great for me. This allows me to keep (read have an excuse) the Visor with me at all times and have no bulk to my pockets. I have a bad back so having a bulging wallet isn�t good for me. The Visor itself is barley noticeable since it hangs on a swivel clip at my side. It never seems to get in my way at all.

I just got an E&B slipper with the swivel belt clip, and it's been working pretty well, except for when I get into the car with it. I have a heck of a time getting my seatbelt on over it. It works better if I have it on my left hip instead of my right, since there's the whole buckle assemblage on the right side which gets in the way. But even on the left side, it's a bit tricky - I usually have to finagle it around a bit to get it to fit in properly with the seatbelt.

Alas, the "Batman Syndrome"

I've got an EB Slipper (without belt clip) that just has the Visor in it. I don't want to load it down with too much else, and I couldn't fit enough anyway.

I just spread everything out as much as I can - Visor in shirt pocket, wallet in pants pocket, cell phone on belt, watch on belt loop, keys in other pocket...
