Hey has anyone else been to the handspring site recently? They have a link to the visor store at palm gear (when they should have one to visorcentral obviously ) But they have the stowaway and it doesn't say on backorder! Well i didn't actually try to buy, but thought i'd mention it. They also have a couple of springboard modules, including some PDR (presrciption reference) ones.

Kind of cool to see more visor stuff being sold.

I tried to buy it -- well sort of, I really just wanted to chase down the merry path of online ordering in order find price and ship date before bailing out before the final commitment -- and there is nothing there. If you click on "Buy it!" you are sent to a page with no Stowaway in site.

So maybe they aren't in stock just yet...who knows.

I did the same thing. I entered all the info short of my credit card #. It never said it was on backorder, but I bailed before hitting the "buy it" I ended up calling customer support and they said that the SK were indeed on backorder.

Palmgear is on top of it because later I got a couple of emails from palmgear asking me if I wanted to finish my order!

The latest we heard from Targus is that the Keyboard will start to ship on the 27th to retailers, so we expect to have it in stock Monday March 1st. Check out the page below for updates on availability.

I contacted Targus about the cryptic email they sent out regarding the delay for Stowaways from tehir Web store. To me it sounded as if they would be in retail first. This is the response I received:

In regards to your email, we apologize for the confusion that the last email
may have caused. Yes, most retail sellers will receive the product before
the Targus online store will. If you have any other questions please feel
