Angry Dead Treo

So I pulled my treo out of my pocket yesterday to discover the backlighting on, and the phone number of the last number to call me. It appeared hung in this state. A quick reset made the device unresponsive, so I figured the battery had decharged. After several hours of charging, the unit was still unresponsive to any input (key presses, resets, hard resets, etc.) However, it appeared that the red LED was dimly lit on the top of the device. It's dead Jim.

Anyone else seen anything like this? Did I do something wrong, or is six months the useful life expectancy of a Treo?

Hmm I think there's about 2 cases of Treos going haywire in these forums now... I wonder what Handspring has to say about it.

I assume you've taken it back to Handspring for a unit change?
