Talking

I thought we could have a discussion topic on this. What an awesome Press Release!

Does anybody know anything about Matchbook? Is it just one guy building all the adapters himself? Very ambitious... but he may turn out better products than a larger company like VaporGear. It looks like Innopocket may have taken marketing lessons from them.

I love this line:
I feel a little like David going against Goliath, said Hudson, who started MatchBook Products in December 2000 with a $15 investment. I take comfort in knowing how that story turned out.

If it's a quality product (let us know on Feb 15), then let's support David .

Yee-Ha!

It was difficult for me to contain my glee as I read the news release. A company that can't even get their website up before they announce intentions to build hardware is suspect from the start. I'm waiting for my matchbook!

...Additionally, I am pumped to know that the creation of sprinboard modules isn't limited to monolithic companies, or even to those with big money behind them. I scrimped and scraped to buy my visor, so it's nice to know there's a business parallel to people like me: fewer resources but greater passion and innovation.

If there's anything we can to do support Matchbook and companies like it (besides buying the product), let us know.

Dieter
