and wouldn't you know, it's addressed to the wrong person!

they got the email address right, but it starts off by saying "Dear XXXX," while I am not XXXX! another corrupted database, i assume...

ditto.

Addressed to some guy named "Christopher".

Of course, "Buck" is not my real name either so I guess I shouldn't care.

Unhappy

What bothers me is that this newsletter provides no useful information.... It's basically just an advertisment.... Now if they lose the ads, throw in some tricks & tips and maybe give us some info on whats in development and when it may be available, that may be a newsletter worth reading!

Same here, got one, no real information, and sent to the wrong person. Just to be safe I reregistered for the newsletter so it comes to the right person just incase it ever gets useful.

Having not got it, I'm wondering if they mentioned the modem and when would it be available?

Hey-
I signed up for the newsletter at the very start. Then several times after. I also never recieved one, not one of the issues. So I was wondering if one of the 'lucky' people who got the newsletter. COuld you post the latest issue on the discussion board? I would really like to see it, thanks.

No, there has been other issues. I remember them on Visorcentral. But other people had to post them since i never got them. But so far they have all been completly pointless. And lists nothing we dont already know by reading any standard review of the visor.

Yeah there was another newsletter last year (November). I had received that one, but I have not received the current one. I guess their database really is still screwed up.

Yes, I got two newsletters already so far, but as everyone says, there's really nothin useful in it at all that you can't already get from the Handspring website
